We have recently assisted Goldenvoice with transportation planning and traffic management associated with the Coachella and Stagecoach Festivals in Indio. The Coachella Festival is the premier contemporary music festival in the US with 95,000 daily attendees over a three day weekend for two successive weekends, including on-site camping, day parking, shuttles buses, and taxis. The Stagecoach County Music Festival, staged the following weekend, draws 60,000 attendees. The Mobility Group conducted comprehensive transportation surveys and evaluations of traffic and transportation operations at the 2013 Festival and prepared an extensive EIR Transportation Study for the expansion of the Festivals, including recommendations for traffic management mitigations. We also conducted traffic monitoring at the 2014 Festivals.
